Alright, this is going to be hard to do for 40 days. I like drawing, but I don't think I like typing up my thoughts everyday. Writing takes me longer than the drawing in the first place!
Drawing is the easy part to want to do. It's methodical to stare at something and work through all the elements that make up a form, and it's a skill that I've let rust a bit if I'm honest. I think as I continue working through this challenge I'll go deeper into applying myself. For now, I'm just enjoying making a collection of different things in my sketchbook.
These past drawings may seem boring, but stick with me, I'll be doing some fun animals and people soon!
I'm an illustrator and graphic designer who is desperate to get back to the basics of pencil and paper! I'm challenging myself to sketch everyday for 40 days in hopes of regaining my overall skill, creativity, and wonder!
